Back together again

In 1988, the UK government sold off its 100% stakes in British Leyland and British Steel, flogging the former to BAe and the latter on the stock market.

So it’s nice to see them reunited under common ownership 20 years later…

    i’ve commented in your comments. gov’t do under-lie by excluding pensions, but i think your figure is still way too high…

    Nice to see all of these English companies taken over by a company in one of the former colonies.

    It is always good to pass on the family silver to the children.
