- 'Unfollow' posts are tedious, but wanna note realising that 'voice of rank and file' cop World Weary Detective http://bit.ly/ajdt2z is cunt 1 week ago
- I realise the only people who'll get the last tweet are Britpop fans who're Anglophile Aussies or Aussie Brits. That's my niche, baby. 1 week ago
- I love it when TV incidental music is aces (Teachers on ABC2 played out with Boy With The Arab Strap). Also, remember when C4 was good? 1 week ago
- ...so if I were the next govt's advisor, I'd run a new big cable to Singapore and another one to LA, rather than cocking about domestically. 1 week ago
- Domestic or domestically-cached (i.e. popular foreign) = fast, because (even pre-NBN) it's better than UK ISPs. International is terrible. 1 week ago

Who is Jay Bennett?
A US folk-rock musician – member of Wilco, who were very good and successful among people who like that sort of thing (ie good music, which you should).
I was ambivalent to Wilco. Maybe I should give them another go.
Oh- and re: your like for intelligent girl-pop, a friend shared this with me.

You might like it.
Like-ish. Clever, very pretty, but not sure about the song. Will listen a couple more times and decide. Ta like.
& BB & Wilco’s Mermaid Avenue is definitely the best album, but genuinely like the band themselves. Ghost Is Born my favourite but all good.
I still can’t stop listening to Florence so haven’t had a chance to revisit Wilco. I’ve had six of her songs on loop for days now. Maybe a bit of Joey Nightmare will help my addiction.
