  1. Over the course of a five-year parliament, I calculate the personal loss to Cameron will be in excess of £250,000, and this is not counting the pension benefits.

    Funny How Tim Walker doesn't mention how Cameron's Bullingdon Club finances will be utterly unaffected by this realtively tiny change in his fortunes. One might postulate that drawing attention to Brown's move without mentioning his enormous personal wealth is a PR stunt designed to present Cameron as a "regular guy" and to curry sympathy for him. But then that's what you'd expect from a corporatist media entity like the Telegraph.
